Progress report for the week

I’ve been busier than expected this week with my day job, but I’ll be focusing heavily on the development of Artemis over the weekend and next week. If all goes to planned there will be quite a large addition coming in the next update (which I plan to release by the 22nd).

A brief overview of what to expect include the first full on sex scene involving Taya, as well as two smaller scenes involving Lys. In terms of story-line I plan to finish both chapter 4 and 5, which will contain the first look at the conflict between the Pirate and Military factions and provide players with the necessary tools to decide who they wish to support through their in-game decision making.

I also have a short animated opening in the works, although it will be hard to guarantee it will be ready for the next update. Another addition I’m working on implementing is background music for story and scenes.

[UPDATE] Artemis v0.10 now available for patrons

This update was a lot larger than I initially anticipated. It includes the first major sex scene (Taya BJ) and introduces two new characters into the story, Kana and a mystery girl waiting to be discovered. The story got some massive expansion, with both Chapter 2 and 3 now being implemented in the game.

What to expect in the next Update

I’m currently hard at work creating the content for the next update which will most likely be released by Sunday (8th).

My goal for this update is twofold.

Firstly, I want to finish some of the renders that I wasn’t able to finish off for the Demo. This includes the Engine Room and Loading Bay areas. As well as massively expand the storyline to include the next two chapters (chapter 2 & 3).

Secondly, I plan to introduce Kana’s route, however, there will not be any major content for her yet. I want to flesh out the main story, as well as Lys and Taya’s routes before I start on Kana’s.

There is a chance I might be able to implement the first hunt, but this depends largely on how much time I’ll be able to dedicate after getting off work.

[PUBLIC DEMO] Artemis v0.01

Release was slightly delayed due to some unforeseen bugs with the menu layout, which should now be fixed. As I do not have access to a system running Linux or Mac OS I have only tested the Windows version, although briefly. If you encounter any bugs or issues please let me know and I’ll fix ASAP!

[TIMELINE] Public Demo

This is just an announcement regarding the public demo for Artemis. It will be going live later this week. The demo will consist of the Prologue and Chapter 1 of the storyline. All sprites for this section of Artemis are complete and are being implemented as we speak.

The first Patreon only build is scheduled to be released at the beginning of next month (before March 10th). So please don’t pledge support right now if you are expecting a Patreon build to be available.

Will be posting a lot more updates later today as soon as I get off work.
